Completed 2014 Masters of Education (Secondary) with a GPA of 3.5. Due for completion 2016 I also have qualifications in: Cert III in Hospitality Cert IV in Front-Line Management Cert IV in Mental Health
Experience
I have 1.5 year of experience working as a group study facilitator/tutor at RMIT University for the subjects 'Australian Society in a Global Context', 'Sustainable Futures' and 'Inter-cultural Communication' My class history is very diverse including fields such as sociology (national and international), psychology, philosophy, language (English), Mental Health, Business and Economics. I've received multiple awards throughout my education history including academic excellence in high school and trainee of the year for my Cert III in hospitality. I have been trained across multiple jobs how to facilitate and tutor groups and individuals. I've also received training and extensive experience in interpersonal communication and relationship management. I have worked for RMIT university for 3 years in a number of positions, most recently as the project officer for an international student mentoring program that has an intake of 600 students each semester. I want to tutor because i believe in the power of a good education and wish to provide for others the inspiration, dedication and enthusiasm that was so generously given to me by a number of influential teachers.
